The old chili is way way better, more flavor, spicier, thicker and the new chili sucks, it's soupy, plain and nasty.

Yes, yes, and yes!!!!!!! The new stuff is so runny and disgusting.

Thank goodness my center has had cans of the Chile Con Carne left for the past couple of weeks, but they'll be gone soon.

Why did you do it, Jenny Craig? If you think we need chile for dinner, just keep the Chile Con Carne and call it dinner. In fact, I always eat mine for dinner any way.

Glad to know I am not alone ... I loved the chili con carne. I decided to get 5 when I heard they were leaving and glad I did after trying the new chilli. After they are gone i'll just have to give the turkey chili another go.. I really didn't like it either when I first tried it ... rolleyes.gif

I've had the new chili 3 times, giving it another chance to be good blink.gif but no luck. I volumize it (and the old chili too, which I loooove!) with finely chopped carrots, celery, onions, a good spooful of salsa, some chili powder, Tabasco... you get the idea. The taste of the beef still comes through, and NOT in a good way. I don't eat ground turkey, so after I run out of the old chili I stocked up, it's good bye chili for me.

I could not agree more. The old chili was perfectly fine. While I enjoy the JC entrees, I think that the old chili was one of few items that tasted exactly like the "real deal." I am not sure why they chose to retire this one, but it was a winner.

I feel the same way. I almost wanted to quit the program when they started to take aways some of the best items they have! To be honest if it wasnt for the awesome dinner and desert items I would quit! They really need to up the lunch and breakfast items to stay competitive in the weight loss program world. And bring back our chili!

I really liked the Chili Con Carne.. I'm bummed that it's gone. I tried the Beef Chili with Beans and it is nowhere near as good! Trying the turkey chili next, but I'm a little afraid that it came in a box instead of a can or bowl.

Bring back the GOOD chili!

I also liked the old chile con carne. The new version doesn't compare and doesn't volumize nearly as well. Oh, and it doesn't taste great either. sad.gif

I also like the old chili - the new chili is too runny. The taste is just ok but I prefer the older version.

I am too new to have tried this old chili but I had the current one last night for dinner and oh, not so good. I didn't add anything to it, I had just finished running and it was too late for a big dinner. I did try to add some chili powder and it didn't help. But because it's the cheapest dinner available, I will order at least a few more times when trying to keep costs down.

I'm down to my last 3 precious cans of the Chili Con Carne. The dilemma is...do I use them up now? or wait until AFTER hurricane season???
It truly tastes delicious and is sooo easy to volumize, too!

The other chilis...well,...they're OK...edible... : P

I just ate the new beef chili yesterday...I am so glad it is not just me! It was so bland and tasteless...I only got a 1/4 of the way through the bowl and had to throw it away sad.gif

The turkey chili was not that bad...A pitiful sub for the chili con carne, but it will work to cure my chili jones when I get it tongue.gif

I too miss the old chili.

I would make a mock taco salad out of the old chili. Bed of shredded lettuce, tomatoes, couple of chopped black olives, sliced red onions, a dollop of FF sour cream. MmMmmMMm

I tried that with the new chili. Ended up dumping the entire salad in the trash because it was soupy and just nasty. Ended up making something else that day and swore off the new chili.

New chili = icky

I never tried the old chili but the new one is just plain gross!!!! I personalized my menu so I could get food I "knew" I would like and woooo did I get it wrong with that one. I think it's the only meal I got this week that I didn't like (thank goodness I only got one of them). Did someone say the turkey chili isn't that good either? What a bummer!

The new chili tastes like soup with waaaay too much cumin and little other spice. I poured it over sauteed peppers and onions, doctored it up to make it palatable but I doubt that I will order it again.
I do find myself drifting away from the JC food more and more, enjoying my MOMO's. But since I still need to lose at least another twenty pounds or so and would like to do full-on JC I get a little bit annoyed when a JC food item is so awful. I look forward to the new foods and am so disappointed when they fall short of expectations.

I would not know how feet taste. So this is a really strange comment MM!

Does it taste like feet? I am not licking a foot to find out!
