Just to let you all know, you are wasting your time with asking for anything from these people. I stopped eating JC food because I just couldn't stomach it anymore. When you are given so few options, after a while it gets old. I have been asking for more veggie foods for almost three years now. THEY DON'T CARE. I am just real disgusted with this company in general. Why should someone who is a vegetarian have to suck it up and eat meat for a while. I refused!!!! I have been doing just fine on my own. In fact, better. I feel much better eating my own food. If you use the chart of how many starches, fats, etc. you are to have in a day, you can easily, and in my opinion healthier. Good luck to all of you. But, they are not listening.

I'm new to JC and not a vegetarian, but there are certain situations when I follow a vegetarian diet. I have been doing this now for a few weeks and am so sick of the limited choices. I would love a vegie burger. In fact, I would enjoy it regularly. Also, considering that healthy eating is touted as eating fish at least twice a week, it's disapppointing that they only have two fish choices, salmon and fish and chips. What about some shrimp with pasta? What about some tilapia? There could be more variety. Someone at JC, please, look into this. Some of us are getting desparate for variety that doesn't exist if you are required to not eat meat.

For Roda13,

Although, opinions are respected on this website, it is meant as a tool for positive reinforcement and camaraderie between fellow Jenny Craig-ers. If you feel that Jenny Craig is not for you, then that is fine, but don't trash it to the rest of us who struggle every day with weight loss and find that Jenny helps us. I feel that Jenny does care and teaches you how to create a lifestyle on your own. You complain about lack of choices, well why not use what Jenny teaches and incorporate more free and limited foods, and meals-on-my-own into your program. It sounds to me that is is your attitude that needs an adjustment.....not just Jenny.

i agree, however, requesting it online isn't working. i've requested numerous times. what other methods might work? has anyone tried calling corp headquarters? if so, what type of response? maybe the request should be sent out to other forums for the meat eaters to help bring it back (not sure if anyone's done it). please share your thoughts.

I am so with you! I love veggie burgers. I haven't tried the JC one yet, but from what I have heard and read it looks really good! I really do hope they offer more vegetarian items.

I just joined, and as a 4-year-veg who depended on Veggie Burgers I am at a loss! Lets bring it back! When I have my next consultation, I'll ask about how to get it back on the plan. In the meantime, I'll send some emails.

Maybe it's just not cost effective for Jenny Craig to be a full-service vegetarian diet program. The number of people who would choose the vegetarian options may not be great enough to stock them (and maybe they knew that from the number who chose the veggie burger).

I'm a non-vegetarian who often eats like a vegetarian, and I am very happy to have veggie options, but when I see the comments people make, like the ones about the meatless nuggets in the dumpling rice, etc., it makes me think that there may be few who would buy more hard-core vegetarian items.

I'm sure there's a market out there for a full-service vegetarian weight loss program - maybe someone else will pickup on it if Jenny Craig can't/won't. I'm sure it's tough for the vegetarians to stay motivated with the program - I hope you find a resolution.
