I eat primarily as a vegetarian (with some fish) and love JC, but there are so few options for lunch. JC has done a good job adapting some meals for vegetarians - so good that both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike enjoy them (pancakes & sausage, lasagna, pizza, enchiladas).

There's got to be a way to introduce more vegetarian friendly lunches and dinners - please??

I agree, one of the reasons I gave up on JC is the small amount of vegetarian options. I can't eat pasta and pizza everyday. I am sure there are many other people that want to have other meatless options. How can we put pressure onto them to include more veg meals????

I also am a vegetarian who eats fish as well. So far I have had the fish & chips and the tuna salad kit. Both were good, though the portions are very small. I only started JC last week so I am worried about getting tired of so much pasta and pizza. I am not crazy about the non frozen entree's such as the cheese ravioli. I have not tried the pasta fagoli yet. I have lost 3.6 pounds so far but have 30 pounds or more to go. I think if all vegetarians constantly make the request for more vegetarian options when ordering as well as at the centers we may get what we want. I heard they had a veggie burger they took off the menu. I am wondering if they could at least give us some ways to do meals on our own for vegetarians? I am going to mention all of this to my counselor on Friday.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I love things like beans and lentils and veggie burgers. They're not only delicious, but they provide a lot of fiber. I was eating a lot of whole grains and legumes before I started JC and I'm finding that they're the things I'm really missing.
